3D-printed noise barrier with photovoltaic modules generates electricity and makes highways quieter

A 3D-printed noise barrier prototype with integrated photovoltaic modules has been developed in Upper Austria by TIGITAL 3D-Set and draw4you. Using selective laser sintering (SLS), the project aims for a sustainable solution to highway noise, showcasing the environmental and design advantages of 3D printing. The prototype’s success has generated interest, paving the way for potential production.
