You can find a farm near Blackpit. Next to this farm you can find Gareth, who buries the bodies of his parents.
Talk to this man and you will find out that his parents were murdered. Gareth wants to avenge them. You can convince him that he shouldn't do this. If you do, the quest will end at that moment.
Reward: 8,750 experience points.
If you fail to convince Gareth or you support his revenge, he will order you to kill the Silent Monks inside the house. However, you have to convince his guards to let you in. Here you can decide if you want to kill the Silent Monks or if you want to save their lives. In addition to this, you also have to convince Gareth not to kill them. No matter what happens to the Silent Monks, Gareth will discover that someone has demanded the murder of his parents and will order you to find the culprit. Use your Spiritual Vision ability and talk to Gareth's parents. They will tell you that their murder was ordered by White Master Jonathan.
Go back to Gareth. He wants the Magister dead, and orders you to kill him and bring proof of his death.
Warning: If one of your characters is talking to his parents while you are talking to Gareth about the fate of the Silent Monks, you immediately open a dialogue in which you tell Gareth who the killer is. He loses interest in the Silent Monks and orders you to kill Jonathan.
Unfortunately, you can't convince Gareth to change his plans, so you have to kill Jonathan to complete this quest.
Jonathan can be found at Blackpits, where he interrogates Guidian. This fight is quite difficult because Oil and Fire Voidlings will join it. You must avoid using fire and have a character with many skills of the hydrosophist school.
After the battle, you must take the ring from the body of the white magister and return to Gareth.
Separate one of your teammates from the rest of the team and order him to stand on the mechanism in the third room. Then use Spirit Vision in the sarcophagus room. This shows the three levers that need to be pulled in the order shown in the picture.
